A Journey through France

Mediterranean waters, picturesque Provençal villages, historic Burgundy vineyards and the romance of Paris

Touch down on the French Riviera where Mediterranean sea air, scents of pine and palm fringed coasts fill the senses.

Your journey begins on the south coast of France, famous for its never ending shimmering coastline, dotted with yachts, sailing boats, and beach clubs.

Travel for three weeks through some of France’s most treasured regions, at your own pace and completely bespoke to you. Below we highlight, and suggest, your (open) itinerary, allowing active experiences, inland relaxation and local discovery.

Week 1

Côte d’Azur

Location – WK 1

Corsica Southern / East Coast

Between France and Italy, the Mediterraneans 4th largest island, known as the island of beauty. Beautiful beaches to wild looking peaks, mountain pastures with hilltop villages to the birthplace of Napoleon.
Corsica’s variety, very few can match, which all ages can come to experience. The hardest decision, is where to base yourself. We’ve opted for the Southern part, mainly for its beaches and a little bit of everything. Corsica, so far has escaped mass commercialism and laidback luxury is a theme throughout and one we will focus on.

French Riviera Suggestion: Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

Where mountains meet the Mediterranean waters, an effortless sun-soaked coastline offering glamour and laid back luxury. It’s rugged natural beauty provides guests with an abundance of options from it’s bustling markets to sunset cruises aboard your private boat. The riviera captivates like few other coasts and ensures an exciting, and scenic start to your elegant French journey. It’s simply an area which captures all and offers something for everyone.

Provence Suggestion: The Alpilles

The Alpilles in Provence is known for its wild beauty and ancient ruins. Its location is hard to beat, with historic and beautiful towns such as, Saint-Remy, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, not forgetting some of France’s most beautiful villages of the Luberon such as Gordes. Thus making easy half day trips for those who wish to wander a little further afield. Should you wish to stay closer to home, the location is well known for hiking trails and its natural park to discover, all from the doorstep of your luxury rental home.

Burgundy Suggestion: Beaune

Art, fashion, romance, cuisine, Paris has it all. France’s biggest city and one of the world’s most visited. Parisian lifestyle is captivating for all ages and your final few days can be filled as you wish. Sightseeing, watching the world go by from a street-side cafe, private guided tours or simply indulging in the latest restaurant to hit its food scene, the choice is yours.

Day 1 – 7 – Corsica

Touch down on one of the most beautiful and diverse islands in Europe. Stunning coastline and turquoise waters await to kickstart your French adventure.

Day 7 – 10 – French Riviera

From Antibes to Menton, Monaco to St Tropez, Cannes to Cassis, few coastlines offer as much as La Côte d’Azur.

Explore quiet corners, bustling beach bars and glitzy towns, after the serenity and wild island of Corsica.

Day 10 – 17 – Provence

Time to head inland, where a slower pace of life begins.

Sink into your Provençal rental home and slowly explore some of France’s most beautiful and recognised villages and sites.

Day 10 – 17 – Provence

Sample the rosé wine, taste the olive oil, cycle through rolling landscapes and enjoy your luxury farmhouse.

Once departing Provence, your driver will take you to the heart of Burgundy for Grand Cru’s and understated luxury.

Restful days continue from your hotel, positioned centrally to famed vineyards for a few days of sampling the best of wines.
